All Pie; All the Time.
As a die-hard Chrono Trigger fanatic I'm going to have to nitpick some stuff in your review. One thing that jumps out is your complaint about pricing in Medina Village. Sure the prices are absolutely absurd, but it's part of the world-building. Everyone in that town hates humans and they make it clear that they're going to extort you if you have the gall to try purchasing stuff from them. The inn prices are equally jacked up and a fair number of NPCs explain why. I did not appreciate the translation changes, particularly the names of items. Tonics instead of potions helped the game feel distinct amongst the sea of other titles in the genre. Oh, and congrats on getting published. It was a good article despite my curmudgeonly complaining.
